Mississippi State Personnel Board

As the central personnel agency for State government, the Mississippi State Personnel Board (MSPB) seeks to recruit qualified individuals from all segments of society. The Mississippi State Personnel Board has under its purview nearly 29,000 employees who serve the State of Mississippi each day. Our focus is recruiting and retaining those who are committed to serving the people of Mississippi. The MSPB Office of Workforce Development assists agencies with effective employee training and a professional development system that inspires trust, clarifies purpose, aligns systems, and develops talent. The goal of the Office of Workforce Development is to provide State agencies with the tools, information, and training needed to ensure a quality workforce for State government.

Source of Official Student Records:   Student transcripts are maintained by the MSPB Office of Workforce Development within the Mississippi Accountability System for Government Information and Collaboration through the Mississippi Learning Solution (LSO). The student and the employing agency may access transcripts using a secure login.
How Results are Reported:   Projects and comprehensive essays are submitted via email to the MCPM program director in the Office of Workforce Development. Once scored by project evaluators, the MCPM program director emails the evaluator scoring sheet to students. Rating turnaround time is six weeks for CPM Levels III - V projects and two weeks for CPM Level VI comprehensive essay.
