Penn Foster College

Penn Foster College is located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Since its founding in 1891, the school has been a world leader in distance education and a pioneer in the development of self-paced, independent home study materials. The mission of Penn Foster College is to prepare adult learners to advance or change their careers, learn new skills, and gain personal satisfaction through interactive distance study which fosters the development of lifelong learning skills. Today, Penn Foster College offers a full complement of degree-level instructional programs.

Students are given electronic access to the school for study materials, testing, and student services via online network connections. Penn Foster College has a faculty of department chairmen, full-time instructors, adjunct instructors, graders, and educational consultants. Penn Foster College is an accredited charter member of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). It is licensed by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education and is authorized to award Associate of Science degrees, Bachelor's of Science Degrees, and Undergraduate Certificates. Penn Foster College is also a member of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO).
