Center for Financial Training Atlantic & Central States, Inc.

The Center for Financial Training Atlantic & Central States (CFTACS) is an industry-supported adult education and training nonprofit organization that has been providing continuing education courses and professional development programs for members of the financial industry since 1901. CFTACS primarily services the geographic market area of Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Virginia, and is one of 12 centers serving the continuing education needs of financial services employees.

CFTACS courses develop its curriculum in cooperation with the National Center for Financial Training. CFTACS courses are designed for multiple experience levels and area of responsibility, and offer students up-to-date, practical, industry-related information, and skills. The skills help employees work smarter and better, improving their on-the-job performance and productivity.

CFTACS courses are business and finance specific and may be applicable toward both an associate and baccalaureate degree at many colleges and universities in CFTACS's market area and beyond. CFTACS classes are conducted in multiple formats including live classroom style, online via the internet, and through an enhanced correspondence program called Guided Self Study. The CFTACS faculty is composed of bank officers, attorneys, certified public accountants, and other industry specialists who bring both expertise and experience to their students in both the traditional and nontraditional classroom.

CFTACS is headquartered in Norwich, Connecticut, with regional offices in Upper Montclair, New Jersey, Amherst, New York, and St. Louis, Missouri.
