AMC Logistics Leadership Center

The AMC Logistics Leadership Center was established in 1956 as the Intern Training Center at the Red River Army Depot. Since then, the school's mission has greatly diversified and the name was first changed to the School of Engineering and Logistics (SEL) and finally to the AMC Logistics Leadership Center. Since 1957 more than 6,000 students have graduated from the intern programs and even more from short courses.

The school aims to provide training in different career fields of specialization to produce multifunctional federal employees, perform research and consulting services, participate in writing publications, and present a large variety of short courses. The training prepares students for journeyman-level positions in various career fields in the government. The core curriculum includes Human Resource Management; Information Technology; Logistics, Acquisition Management; Research, Development and Acquisition; and Quality/Reliability Assurance.
