ACT Education Solutions

ACT Inc. is one of the foremost providers of educational testing, workforce development, and research services in the world. It is most renowned for the American College Test (ACT) standardized admissions test for college entrance.

ACT Education Solutions Ltd (AES) is a wholly owned subsidiary of ACT Inc. established in 2005. Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, AES has regional offices in China, Singapore and Indonesia, and representative offices in Mexico, Bahrain and South Korea. The Global Assessment Certificateā„¢ (GAC) is a Foundation Studies/University Preparation program which is accredited in Australia by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and is delivered at AES licensed teaching centres in many countries around the world. The GAC program is focussed on preparing international students for the academic rigors of studying undergraduate degrees in the USA to ensure they have successful learning outcomes.

Source of Official Student Records:   All student results and information is maintained in the secure iTAP database. iTAP stands for International Targeted Admissions Profiler and it is the student database system for all students enrolled in AES programs including the Global Assessment Certificate. Student data includes name, name of centre, ID number, program enrolled in, date of birth and results from all assessment events in each module. It is this data bases that generates all official transcripts which are used for entrance to college.
How Results are Reported:   Upon completion of each module (course) in the Global Assessment Certificate, grades are moderated and then verified/checked by AES. The final grades are entered into iTAP. When the student has successfully completed all assessment events in each level, the grades are checked/verified by AES and a Statement of Attainment is generated by AES. When a student has successfully completed all three levels of the GAC program, the grades are again verified/checked and AES securely generates transcripts and certificates which are mailed to centers.
