How Results are Reported:   The scores are reported on a pass/fail basis. The percentage of itemsthat must be answered correctly for an examinee to be certified in a given speciality area varies between 62 percent and 76 percent. In addition to meeting the minimum score on the ASE paper and pencil tests, candidates must also have a minimum of two years of hands-on experience. This experience may be verified as part of a normal audit byASE and might be measured on a local level by a credit-granting institution by administering a locally develpped laboratory or hands-on performance examination or an end-of-course written examination.
