National Weather Service Training Center

The National Weather Service, an agency within the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, established the Training Center to provide residence courses in meteorology, electronics, management, and supervision for employees. Limited space is made available to personnel of other U.S. government agencies and to foreign countries that have cooperative weather program agreements with the United States. The Center also administers a correspondence program for National Weather Service employees.
