American Educational Institute, Inc.

American Educational Institute, Inc. was founded in 1969 for the purpose of developing Law courses for the education of property/casualty claim adjusters. Since that time AEI has provided insurance coverage and claims law training through a series of undergraduate and graduate level courses offered to insurance industry personnel.

From the four courses originally offered, AEI now offers over 50 individual courses in the subject areas of: Legal Principles, Liability , Property, Automobile, Workers Compensation and Claims Fraud.

In the 1969 there were fewer than 500 students from less than 25 companies. Today AEI enrolls over 5,000 students form more than 300 insurance companies, independent adjusters, self-insureds, agencies and brokers. In addition to credit recommendations from ACE, AEI's courses are recognized as a source for continuing education credits by many state insurance departments, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) and as a component in the professional career path of many insurance companies.

The institute is proud of its accomplishments and continues to be committed to providing the very best in claim law training courses to the insurance industry.
