Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy (DCITA)
The Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy (DCITA), the training directorate of the DoD Cyber Crime Center (DC3), serves a diversity of students from the Department of Defense (DoD) and many federal agencies. From a modest beginning in 1998, the Academy has grown into a highly regarded cyber training institution offering more than 30 courses in five categories of specialization. Courses range from digital forensic investigation basics to collecting, preserving, and examining digital media in a wartime environment. Delivered in modern classrooms and across leading-edge digital platforms, DCITA courses are designed to strengthen and test student technical capabilities in real-world scenarios. The Academy is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education.
