Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy (DCITA)

Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy (DCITA) develops and delivers cyber forensic investigation training to Department of Defense (DoD) entities and eligible federal law enforcement organizations. DCITA's mission is to "provide computer investigation training to individuals and DoD elements that must ensure defense information systems are secure from unauthorized use, counterintelligence, and criminal and fraudulent activities." DCITA is the only government organization singularly dedicated to cyber investigations training development and delivery. Students are trained in the latest computer forensic techniques using state of the art equipment, classrooms, and technologies. DCITA offers courses in the following disciplines: computer search and seizure techniques; network intrusions investigations; forensic computer media analysis to support criminal, fraud, and counterintelligence investigations; basic and advanced forensic examinations; and online undercover techniques. DCITA is accredited by the Council on Occupational Education.
