Institute of Industrial Engineers

Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE) is the world's largest professional society dedicated solely to the support of the industrial engineering profession and individuals involved with improving quality and productivity. Founded in 1948, IIE is an international, non-profit association that provides leadership for the application, education, training, research, and development of industrial engineering. IIE's primary mission is to meet the ever-changing educational needs of its membership, which includes undergraduate and graduate students, entry-level engineers, engineering practitioners and consultants in all industries, engineering managers, and engineers in education, research, and government.

Source of Official Student Records:   All student records are maintained in the secure IIE data base including name of candidate, date of exam, date of project completion, and final status regarding the awarding of the six sigma black belt. Records are maintained indefinitely.
How Results are Reported:   Exam results are reported to participants via email. Project evaluation results are reported to the participants via email.
Retake Policy:   One retest is permitted within 12 months of the initial exam.
