Naval Facilities Acquisition Center for Training

The U.S. Naval Facilities Acquisition Center for Training (NFACT) is a school under the command of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command. It is co-located with the U.S. Navy's Civil Engineer Corps School at the Naval Facilities Institute (NFI), Port Hueneme, California. NFACT is part of the Acquisition Business Management Group, NFI. ABMG includes NFACT and the management and oversight responsibilities for the contracting processes in the NAVFAC Corporate Business Management System (BMS). NFACT provides specialized quality education and training for military and civilian procurement professionals involved in various aspects of facilities services, new or unique construction acquisition program requirements. The school offers educational opportunities in a traditional classroom setting. In the near future, web-based training will be available for selected courses. NFACT instructors are procurement subject-matter experts who have been trained in course development and techniques needed to train adults.
